A new Centre for Criminology and Criminal Justice was launched last week at the University of Central Lancashire. The centre will support co-ordination between criminologists working in the department of education and social science and the Lancashire Law School. Uclan also announced plans for an advisory board to strengthen links with other universities and criminal justice agencies. The centre, directed by Barbara Hudson, is intended to place Uclan at the forefront of criminology and criminal justice research.
