Shoppers in Preston were treated to a student "fash mob" as undergraduates took to the streets en masse last week to promote an arts festival. Students from the School of Creative and Performing Arts at the University of Central Lancashire set up impromptu artistic performances around the city. Participants wore T-shirts to promote the Uclan Creative Festival 2010, which runs from 4 May to 19 July, and visited Preston train station, the shopping mall and the city's historic Flag Market, where a Uclan "fashion stylists' closet" was set up.
