A university has signed a £1 million three-year partnership with BAE Systems to conduct research into energy management. The University of Central Lancashire will help the defence giant manage its energy supplies by cutting emissions, reducing costs and securing supplies. The partnership will also investigate new energy technologies that could enable unmanned aircraft to stay in the air longer.
