A Scottish university has teamed up with the Institute of Sport and Exercise to help provide better sports facilities to students and staff. The Dundee University Sports Union has entered a partnership with the ISE to create Dundee University Sport. The body will offer sports development training to the captains of the university's 42 sports clubs, and students will act as sports volunteers. Sports Union president Graeme Spowart said: "Clubs will continue to have the representation, guidance, student knowledge and support of the sports union, but they will also have the expertise and consistent professional support of ISE."
