Companies in Kent are poised to benefit from a partnership between the University of Greenwich and local business-support organisations. The Business Innovation Group aims to help firms exploit new opportunities for funding and commercial ventures, along with potential collaborative-development programmes that may be generated by the 2012 Olympic Games in London. The initiative is a partnership between Greenwich, the Thames Gateway Chamber of Commerce, Kent Invicta Chamber of Commerce and Business Link Kent. It will encourage businesses to link up with research and development teams at the university.
