The archive of an acclaimed poet has been acquired by the University of Leeds. The Geoffrey Hill archive includes 70 notebooks of poetry as well as other drafts of prose and poems, letters and lecture notes from an academic career that included 26 years at Leeds. The university expects the material to provide fresh impetus for academic study.
