Leading journalists are giving a series of guest lectures at the University of Lincoln. John Pilger, the journalist and documentary maker, Mark Byford, deputy director-general of the BBC, and Dorothy Byrne, head of news and current affairs at Channel 4, are among the line-up of speakers at the Lincoln School of Journalism this term. Mr Pilger helped to launch the school in November 2004.
