More than £12,000 was raised for victims of the recent earthquake in China by staff and students at the University of Warwick. The university has more than 1,000 students from China and Hong Kong, making up 7 per cent of the total student population. The fundraising drive was organised by Warwick's Chinese Students and Scholars Association and its Hong Kong Society.
