Magnus Soderstrom has been named rector of Vaxjo University, one of Sweden's new universities, upgraded from a university college. He is assistant professor of educational science at Uppsala University and has been deputy director of the Institute of Personal and Business Development, which is owned by Uppsala University, for the past 12 years.
