Bangor, Cardiff and Swansea universities have collaborated to set up the new Wales Institute of Cognitive Neuroscience, which was launched this week. The institute, which builds on the expertise in psychology developed by the universities, has received £5 million in funding from the Welsh Assembly Government. Staff will be based in the three universities, which collectively are home to 250 academics working in psychology.
