Those who criticised the Treasury's ten-year science review for being a rush job may be changing their minds. For weeks, there have been excited whisperings that the big announcement by Gordon Brown, the Chancellor, is just days away. But sources close to the Treasury say there has been a change of heart, and Mr Brown's lips are likely to be sealed until mid-July. Did anyone clarify what the "ten-year" bit of the title refers to?
