World Mycotoxin Forum

The second world mycotoxin forum will be held from 17 to 18 February 2003 in Noordwijk aan Zee, the Netherlands.

The purpose of the event is to create a meeting and networking point for businesses and food/feed professionals at all stages of the agro-food chain, including regulatory authorities, consulting agencies and scientists from all over the world.

Sessions at the event will take the form of plenary meetings, chaired debates and case studies, and will include speakers from the world health organisation (WHO), and the US department of agriculture. Issues will include; mycotoxins and legislation, the implementation of EU controls on imported food, and safe organic vegetables.

The event organisers have also announced a call for posters, and participants are invited to submit entries to the organising committee by no later than 31 December.
