China Subject Ratings 2020: Literature

The Times Higher Education China Subject Ratings 2020 measures university performance based on the Chinese Ministry of Education’s classification of subjects.

The ratings for literature reveal performance in two subjects: foreign language and literature; and media/communications/journalism.

In total, 642 universities worldwide receive a rating for at least one subject in the literature pillar.

Twenty-four universities achieve an A+ grade in both of the literature subjects, while Tsinghua University is the top-performing institution in mainland China.
