Write for THE Student
Are you interested in sharing your tips and advice for international students? Would you like to write an article or submit a video for THE Student?
Then we'd love to hear from you!
Articles and videos published on THE Student are created by international students, international alumni, university agents or university professionals working directly with international students and aim to provide clear, tangible advice about all aspects of the study abroad experience.
Length of articles will be decided by the editor, but they are usually between 600-900 words. Articles should be written in a chatty, informal style and do not require footnotes. Videos should be no longer than five minutes long.
We accept articles from authors with all levels of written English - editors will work with authors to ensure that all articles adhere to the THE Student standard and style. We also accept video clips shot on phones which we will then edit together.
We accept full articles, article pitches and video ideas, which can be sent to seeta.bhardwa@timeshighereducation.com.
Also, please note our policy on AI use, which we do not encourage.
