Al-Kunooze University College is committed to providing specialised scientific knowledge in the administrative, engineering, and legal fields. The university seeks to combine human development with community development to contribute to the progress of the nation.
There are four academic departments at the university, which include the business administration department, the computer techniques engineering department, the law department, and the pathological analysis technology department. Each department is comprised of four scientific areas and each one provides students with specialised knowledge.
The university’s mission is to manifest itself in community service, education, science, and scientific research. By contributing to these four areas, the university aims to maintain its leading role in the field of higher education and continue to serve Iraqi society.
Students from the university regularly visit a local children’s hospital to serve the community. The university is committed to the cultural, economic and social development of the Iraqi community.
Through partnerships with other Iraqi and Arab institutions, the university seeks to participate in academic exchanges to enrich the education it provides to students. The university equips its students with the skills and knowledge they need to become qualified experts in their fields.
In order to contribute to the advancement of scientific progress and research development, the university helped to organise the Fifth Scientific Conference of Medical and Health Specialisations, which took place in March 2020. The university also encourages its scientific departments to engage in research projects throughout the year. The university has scientific laboratories equipped with modern technology available for student and staff researchers to use.
