About Bohdan Khmelnytsky National University of Cherkasy
Bohdan Khmelnytsky National University of Cherkasy was founded in 1921 and named after Bohdan Khmelnytsky, a Ukrainian national hero.
The university offers undergraduate and graduate programmes in various fields, including economics, law, philology, foreign languages, biology, chemistry, mathematics, and physics. All of its 10 faculties offer programmes in Ukrainian and some also offer courses in English.
The university has laboratories and research centres where students can work on projects and collaborate with faculty on research projects.
It has set up partnerships with universities across Europe and Asia and hosts many international conferences and seminars.
