	Actively contribute to the Mental Health in Primary Schools initiative and its aim to enhance student wellbeing and mental health.
	Work with the Faculty of Education’s Teaching and Learning Team to guide and support Mental Health and Wellbeing Leaders participating in the initiative.

About the Role

Oversee content delivery, coordinate learning activities, and provide support to a cohort of Mental Health and Wellbeing Leaders (MHWLs) and their affiliated schools within the Mental Health in Primary Schools initiative (MHiPS). Aid in the creation of individual development plans and facilitate tailored learning modules as part of the MHiPS Training Program.

Your responsibilities will include:


	Supporting MHWLs by assisting them to develop learning goals and then monitoring and tracking progress against these goals.
	Delivering the MHiPS programs’ core training modules in the form of workshops, learning community sessions and drop-in sessions. Responding to any training related queries.
	Comprehensive reporting to determine risks to project delivery and quality, encompassing both quantitative summaries and qualitative analysis of emerging trends and patterns.
	Contributing to internal projects that focus on continuous improvement of the MHiPS offering.


Hybrid working arrangements are available with 60% in the Parkville office, 40% work from home. There are times when working full time from the Parkville office will be required.

Who We Are Looking For

You will bring valuable experience in learning support roles and possess a deep understanding of mental health and wellbeing strategies tailored for schools. You have demonstrated experience in and an understanding of the process of identifying and supporting schools to implement evidence-based resources and strategies. Your ability to effectively convey information and guide interactions, coupled with your exceptional ability to nurture strong relationships, empowers you to engage and lead captivating learning sessions.

You will also have:


	A tertiary qualification in an appropriate field (psychology, social work, other Allied Health, education or wellbeing).
	Knowledge and experience of evidence-based strategies to support the mental wellbeing of primary school students, ideally in a classroom context.
	Excellent communication and facilitation skills; ability to present and facilitate learning regularly (in person and on zoom).
	Strong ability to develop and sustain multiple relationships with individuals and with group.

The successful applicant must be available to commence on the 2 December and be available throughout January and Term 1, 2025.

This role requires that the successful candidate must undergo and maintain an up-to-date Working with Children Check. This is essential to guarantee a secure environment for all individuals at the University. The Department of History of Art at the University of Vienna is the largest center for research and education in the visual arts in Austria. It focuses on the visual arts in Europe, Asia, and the Islamic World. Currently there are 2000 students.

The Department of Art History is inviting applications for a position (75%) as University Assistant (pre-doc) specialising in East Asian Art History starting 2024/11/01.

Your new job:

As a university assistant (pre doc), you will complement the team around Univ.-Prof. Lukas Nickel. Our research and teaching focusses on the art history of East Asia.

The employment duration is 3 years. Initially limited to 1.5 years, the employment relationship is automatically extended to 3 years if the employer does not terminate it within the first 12 months by submitting a declaration of non-extension. With appropriate work progress, an extension to a total maximum of 4 years is possible.

Your tasks:


	You participate in all activities at the chair of Art History of Asia (research projects, conferences, excursions etc.)
	You pursue your PhD project
	You hold university courses and supervise students according to the requirements specified in the collective agreement for PhD students
	You contribute to administrative tasks


Your profile:


	Excellent Master degree with a thesis in the field of East Asian Art History
	Languages: English, German, and at least one East Asian language
	Competence in teaching
	Team skills and organisational expertise

About the area

The Department of Environmental Science is responsible for the delivery of undergraduate majors in Environmental Science including teaching responsibilities in associated areas such as Ecology, Geography and Environmental Management. In addition, the Department also leads the Master of Environmental Science and Master of Biotechnology postgraduate programs.

Currently the department leads multiple large research projects funded by ARC, GRDC, the NESP Resilient Landscapes Hub, state and federal government, multiple industry partners and NGOs.

Founded in 1999, the Department (https://www.ln.edu.hk/cultural/) is the forerunner of offering a BA degree in Cultural Studies in Hong Kong. Our Master of Cultural Studies Programme, launched in 2003, gives students from mixed academic and working backgrounds the opportunity to reflect on and devise alternative ways to approach their ongoing practices. The conditions of appointment will be competitive. The rank and remuneration will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
