About Brandon University

Brandon University is a co-educational, non-denominational, government-supported institution within the Province of Manitoba.

It was established in 1900 and was then established as a liberal arts institution. A school of music was added in 1906.

Students can choose courses from the faculty of arts, the faculty of education, the faculty of graduate studies, the faculty of science, the faculty of health studies and the school of music.

There are a range of clubs that students can get involved with including dance club, history club, geology club, Chinese language club and many others.

The university's sports teams in U Sports are called the Brandon Bobcats and the university competes in basketball and volleyball. There is also a well-established orchestra for music students.
