About the Job As a Student Records Officer, you will join our busy and dynamic Student Records team to manage UEL student data, including students’ enrolment records, module registration and tuition fees, and to support academic colleagues in our Schools with the management of their student cohorts. You will also play an integral role in supporting students’ enrolment during UEL’s large student intakes, and in supporting the assessment and progression of students, throughout the academic year. In liaison with the RWA, to provide advice on the best available techniques for management and disposal of radioactive waste to ensure compliance with the University’s Permits. To coordinate provision of dosimetry across the University. To carry out internal audits and inspections of the Faculties working with ionising radiations. To develop and deliver radiation protection training. To liaise with relevant regulators, including EA, HSE, CTSA and Fire Service. To provide general health and safety advice to academic schools and professional services within the University. Ideally, the successful candidate will have a proven track record of radiation protection and health and safety expertise, ideally in an education or research environment.
