Basic information and contact details for Centro Universitário Max Planck

institution

Centro Universitário Max Planck (UniMAX) is part of The UniEduK Group, an educational group, alongside Centro Universitário de Jaguariúna (UniFAJ) and Faculdade de Agronegócios de Holambra (FAAGROH).

Founded in 2002, UniMAX originally taught just undergraduate courses in the humanities. Over the years, courses have been added and students can now study a variety of undergraduate and postgraduate courses including: engineering, medicine, physical education, nursing, pharmacy and psychology.

The university consists of the main campus, as well as two other branches. The second branch was built in 2014 and is home to the veterinary hospital, which has high-tech laboratories and modern infrastructure to carry out clinical and surgical care of both small and large animals. The third campus is home to the Medical Specialties School Centre.

In order to be accepted into UniMAX, students need to take a comprehensive entrance exam.

UniMAX has a comprehensive job portal for students. Companies can post job openings or internships and students can easily apply via the university website. The University prides itself on its success of students getting jobs after study. Their employability index exceeds 90% and most students get a job before they even graduate.

UniMAX offers a small number of scholarships designed to recognise and award academic excellence.
