About us The King’s Health Partners Clinical Trials Office (KHP-CTO) is a collaboration between King’s College London, Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust, King’s College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust. Established to provide a single interface for those wishing to conduct clinical research within the partner organisations, and to ensure that there are common, efficient processes for the set up and administration of clinical trials. About the role Key responsibilities Facilitate the collection and preparation of documentation required to confirm local capacity, obtain R&D theme lead approvals, collate regulatory approvals needed to instigate clinical trials Facilitate the collection of local and regulatory approvals required for the review and implementation of amendments Provide comprehensive advice to external and internal parties for the conduct of clinical trials across the partner organisations. To assist in maintaining the records of the clinical trials portfolios of the partner organisations including the EDGE system and ensuring information added is quality checked To ensure that trials metrics are collected to permit tracking of milestones. To assist in the archiving of clinical trials documentation to meet prevailing regulatory requirements. To maintain a working knowledge of prevailing regulations, guidance, best practices and GCP standards regarding the conduct of clinical trials To ensure confidentiality of commercially sensitive information and that data protection imperatives are respected The above list of responsibilities may not be exhaustive, and the post holder will be required to undertake such tasks and responsibilities as may reasonably be expected within the scope and grading of the post. The Department of Arts and Design of the Faculty of Arts and Humanities invites applications for the position of Full Professor in Industrial Design. According to the current plan, a Faculty of Design will be established at the new campus, offering undergraduate and postgraduate degrees programmes in Industrial Design. Qualifications 1. A doctoral degree (or equivalent terminal degree) in Industrial Design or a closely related field; 2. Demonstrated potential for excellence in teaching, research and application-based innovation, with expertise in one or more of the following areas: a. sustainable product-service-system innovation, including circular design, systems thinking, service-led strategies for ecological and social transformation; b. more-than-human-centered interaction and UI/UX design, encompassing inclusive, ethical, and planetary perspectives beyond individual usability; c. digital-physical design integration, such as intelligent product design, tangible user interfaces, digital fabrication, or responsive materials; d. advanced design methodologies, including research-through-design, critical and speculative design approaches; 3. Experience teaching and mentoring in studio-based, transdisciplinary, or research-intensive design courses at undergraduate and/or postgraduate levels; 7. Fluency in English is required. Proficiency in Chinese is considered an asset, especially for cross-cultural communication, community-based research, and teaching.   The selected candidate is expected to assume duty subject to the mutual agreement of the both parties. Remuneration A taxable annual remuneration starting from MOP1,250,200 (approximately USD154,350) will be commensurate with the successful applicants’ academic qualification and relevant professional experience.. Full time, 2 years fixed term, located on the Camperdown Campus at the School of Chemistry Opportunity to drive a high-impact research program on engineering carbon fixation in cyanobacteria Base Salary, Academic level A, $113,400- $116,916 + 17% superannuation About the opportunity The School of Chemistry is currently seeking a Postdoctoral Research Associate in Cyanobacterial Synthetic Biology who will work with the research group of Associate Professor Yu Heng Lau on engineering carbon fixation to enhance the growth of photosynthetic organisms. This project is funded by an ARC Discovery Project 2026, where the research associate will focus on engineering encapsulin protein cages in cyanobacteria, with optimal carbon fixing designs to be implemented in plants through collaboration with Professor Spencer Whitney at the Australian National University. The ultimate goal of this research program is to generate crops that are more resilient and resource-efficient, leading to increased agricultural productivity.
