About Josai University
Josai University is a private university in Sakado, Saitama, Japan. It was established in 1965 and is run by the Josai University Educational Corporation. The university offers programmes within the faculty of economics and faculty of science.
International students who wish to take part in courses taught in Japanese need to pass an N2 level of the Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) or a letter from your exchange university to confirm your Japanese is equivalent or higher than an N2 level.
Most students are housed in residential areas about 10 to 30 minutes' walk from Togane Station and one stop away from the JIU campus.
The university has formed partnerships with five universities in Canada, Taiwan, South Korea and Malaysia.
