Kyoto Koka Women's University is a private women's college in Ukyo, Kyoto.

The predecessor of the school was founded in 1939. It was chartered as a women's junior college in 1949 and became a four-year college in 1964.

The university is made of up of three faculties: the faculty of child education, the faculty of health science and the faculty of career development.

The faculty of child education focuses on training primary school teachers, kindergarten teachers and nursery school teachers. There are two programmes within this faculty; the school education programme and the early childhood education programme.

Students enrolled in the faculty of health science will learn a wide range of skills on how to support individuals and their families by learning at medical and welfare facilities and through on-campus lectures.

The faculty of health sciences focuses on the training of speech therapists, clinical psychologists, counselors, dieticians and food specialists. There are four departments within the faculty of health sciences: medical and social, psychology, health and nutrition and nursing. On graduating students can pursue further qualifications to specialise further in diet and nutrition.

The faculty of career development employs the techniques of problem-based learning as well as liberals arts learning to train students in good communication skills and how best to contribute to society. Students can take part in projects that work across various industries as well as internships. Upon graduation students can received qualifications in social research, domestic travel supervision and bridal coordination.

The universities is a relatively small one with just over 500 students.
