Saskatchewan Polytechnic (formerly the Saskatchewan Institute of Applied Science and Technology or SIAST) is Saskatchewan's primary public institution for post-secondary technical education and skills training.
It offers certificate, diploma and degree programmes and apprenticeship technical training to students across four campuses in Prince Albert, Regina, Moose Jaw and Saskatoon, as well as through distance education opportunities and academic partnerships.
The college offers courses in a range of subject areas including business management, computer systems technology, critical care nursing, human resources and interior design.
The institution works hand-in-hand with professionals and industry experts through Programme Advisory Committees. These committees are composed of approximately 700 experts, who let the university know where labour markets are headed and what skills graduates need to help employers stay innovative.
There are a range of amenities across the campuses including a bookstore, fitness centre, gym, library and restaurants and cafes.
