Established in 1870, the Stevens Institute of Technology is one of the oldest technological universities in the United States and was the first American college solely dedicated to mechanical engineering.
From 1997 until mid-2015, the School of Business was known as the Howe School of Technology Management, in recognition of the generosity of Wesley J Howe, who was a former chairman on the board of trustees.
Stevens Institute of Technology’s School of Business offers undergraduate, master’s, MBA and doctoral degrees in entrepreneurship, finance, general management, management information systems, quantitative analysis/statistics and operations research and technology.
