About

Basic information and contact details for Suratthani Rajabhat University

institution

Founded in 2004, Suratthani Rajabhat University based in Surat Thani in Thailand, has roots dating back to 1974 when it was the Teacher College of Suratthani.

At Suratthani Rajabhat University, students can gain undergraduate and postgraduate degrees within a wide variety of faculties, including: education, management, humanities and social sciences, science and technology, nursing, law and an international school of tourism.

Recognising the importance of tourism and hotel management in the 21st century, Suratthani Rajabhat University has established the International School of Tourism. By partnering with first-class hotels and domestic and international airlines, students are able to receive on-the-job-training outside of the classroom.

On campus, there are language and science laboratories, an art gallery, a library, book store and a mock court for law students to practise practical skills outside of the classroom to supplement their learning.

Students can use the sports complex, which includes a stadium, swimming pool, beach volleyball courts, a gymnasium, boxing training ground, tennis court and fitness centre.

While Suratthani Rajabhat University doesn’t have any on-campus accommodation for students, their office can help find good rooms nearby.

The university also has partnerships with other universities worldwide offering students the chance to spend a year studying abroad.

These partnerships with universities worldwide have also paved the way for faculty exchange and advanced research opportunities.
