Teesside University is a public university located in Middlesbrough in the north east of England, with a satellite campus at Darlington.

The university consists of five academic schools:School of Computing, Engineering and Digital Technologies; School of Health and Life Sciences; School of Social Sciences, Humanities and Law; Teesside University Business School, and the MIMA School of Art and Design.

There are specialist media facilities on campus including a convergent newsroom, broadcast news studios, multimedia publishing and computing suites.

Middlesbrough Institute of Modern Art, a contemporary art gallery in the centre of Middlesbrough, is run in partnership with Teesside University and has exhibited works from David Hockney and Tracy Emin.
