About the role We are looking for a Senior Programme Officer to join our Professional Services team, working within the Faculty of Arts and Humanities at one of the most prestigious universities in the UK. The Digital Humanities department has well established undergraduate and postgraduate programmes aswell as online and transnational provision. Position Details Fixed Term until June 2026 | Part- Time 0.6 FTE Research (Academic) Level B | $113,211 - $133,974 p.a. pro rata Location: Tonsley / Kaurna Country View Position Description About the Role The Research Fellow will actively contribute to the work of ARIIA by supporting the delivery of the Knowledge and Implementation Hub (KIH) and related research, evaluation and dissemination activities. The incumbent will assist with preparing high-quality documentation, coordinating tasks, and working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project milestones are achieved. The role will undertake critical appraisal and synthesis of academic and grey literature, as well as practice-based resources, and translate findings into accessible summaries, reports, publications and other dissemination outputs. A key aspect of the role involves building and maintaining networks with academic experts, community organisations, consumers and aged care industry representatives to co-produce evidence-based resources. Working closely with the KIH team, the Research Fellow will help develop online content, including web pages, interactive tools and learning modules. The role will also contribute to evaluation activities, ethics and research applications, and support ARIIA’s marketing, communications and dissemination efforts using clear, lay language tailored to diverse audiences across the aged care sector. About us: The post will be based in the Department of Biostatistics & Health Informatics at KCL, within the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology and Neuroscience (IoPPN). About the role: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Postdoctoral Research Associate to join a pioneering project at the intersection of speech analytics, mHealth, and precision psychiatry. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to an internationally unique study that integrates speech analysis with qualitative and quantitative methodologies at scale, aiming to transform our understanding of Major Depressive Disorder (MDD) and advance patient-centred mental health care. The postholder will play a central role in collecting and analysing large-scale speech and wearable data from participants in the GLAD Study cohort (https://gladstudy.org.uk/). Using large language models (LLMs) and acoustic analytics, they will uncover patterns in content, lexical choice, prosody, and acoustic features. These speech-derived measures will be integrated with insights derived from wearable data, structured assessments, medical records, and multi-omics datasets to enable innovative genetic and biomarker association studies, supporting the development of stratified and personalized approaches to mental health treatment. In addition to conducting cutting-edge analyses, the postholder will prepare research findings for dissemination in high-impact, REF-returnable journals and actively engage with Patient and Public Involvement and Engagement (PPI-E) efforts to ensure authentic, patient-centred interpretations of the data. To be considered for this role, you should have: A PhD (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline (e.g., biostatistics, machine learning, computer science, clinical informatics, natural language processing). Strong skills in data analysis and programming (e.g., Python or R). A track record of publications in high -quality scientific journals. Experience or interest in large language and foundational models is an advantage.
