About Abdelmalek Essaâdi University

Abdelmalek Essaâdi University was established in 1989. The campus is spread across the Tanger-Tetouan-AL Hoceima region and the city of Larache in Morocco. The university gets its name from the Sultan, Abu Marwan And al-Malik.

Abdelmalek Essaâdi University has a range of schools and faculties including: applied sciences, economics and social sciences, education, human sciences, technical sciences among others. The main teachin language at the university is French.

There are a range of student clubs available at the university including sports teams, volunteering groups, art club, journalism club and and entrepreneurship club.

The careers centre was established in 2016 with the aim of offering training for skills students need in the world of work. The university also established the third Confucious Institute in Morocco, providing students with the opportunity to learn the Chinese language.
