We are seeking a motivated researcher to support a range of public health projects within the Public Health Institute. The role involves conducting literature reviews, synthesizing evidence, and contributing to high-quality written outputs across diverse topics, including: Public Health approaches to violence reduction Childhood adversity History of public health Religion and health Pets and public health AI in public health Health inequalities You will collaborate with colleagues across the Faculty (HITS), including other LJMU schools, including Nursing and Advanced Practice and Public and Allied Health. Most work will be campus-based, with some flexibility for remote working. You will hold a PhD in a health or science related field with experience in designing and conducting research using a range of research methodologies, together with experience in data collection and analysis. Candidates with an MFA must possess demonstrable experience in the industry, showcasing a portfolio of work that reflects their expertise. Preference will be given to candidates with a background in teaching, particularly those who have contributed to the development of curriculum and educational materials in their field. Proficiency in game design software and tools, as well as a strong understanding of programming languages commonly used in game development(e.g.,C++,C#,Unity, Unreal Engine).
