The University of Maryland, Baltimore is a public university located in Baltimore in the US state of Maryland. It was founded in 1807 and is the second oldest college in the state.
It is the original campus of the University of Maryland system and has a an affiliation with the College Park campus.
The are six schools within the university including social work, pharmacy, nursing, medicine, law and dentistry. There is also a graduate school.
There are two main libraries on campus: the Health Sciences and Human Services Library and the Thurgood Marshall Law Library.
The CampusGroups platform allows students to join student organisations and explore upcoming events. Some events that students can join include CV writing workshops, a students with disabilities discussion group and a yoga circle for Black History Month.
