About The University of Sindh

The University of Sindh, also known as Sindh University, is a public research university in Pakistan located in the city of Jamshoro. It is among the oldest universities in Pakistan.

The university was established in 1947 and since then has been offering courses across various disciplines through the faculties of natural sciences, social sciences, arts, education, Islamic studies, commerce and business administration.

The university has two major campuses and seven others spread across Sindh. The campuses host modern amenities including indoor gaming facilities, cultural museum, central library, residential halls and a sports facility exclusively for women.

The University of Sindh is a member of the Association of Commonwealth Universities of the United Kingdom, and has forged academic partnerships with leading universities like the University of Durham, the University of Manchester, the University of Sussex, the University of Essex, the University of Leicester, and University of Nottingham. It organises several student and faculty exchange programs throughout the year to enrich the learning experience of its students.
