About Vinayaka Mission’s Research Foundation
Vinayaka Mission’s Research Foundation, a UGC-recognized private deemed-to-be university, traces its history back to 1981 with the establishment of the TKVTSS Medical Educational and Charitable Trust. In 2001, it gained 'deemed-to-be' university status. Salem, where the university is located, is in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu and is known for silver anklets, steel, textiles, and mangoes.
The university encompasses 14 faculties, including medicine, dentistry, homeopathy, pharmacy, nursing, physiotherapy, engineering, management, arts and science, physical education, allied health sciences, law, rehabilitation and behavioural sciences, and interdisciplinary studies. It focuses on imparting knowledge and skills to provide excellent employment opportunities while offering a rigorous, personalised, and culturally diverse educational experience.
