About William Jessup University

Set up in 1939, William Jessup University is a Christian liberal arts university with campuses in Rocklin and San Jose, California, US. Its stated mission is “to educate transformational leaders for the glory of God” “in partnership with the Church”.

Its undergraduate programmes include american sign language, criminal justice, kinesiology, public policy and youth ministry. Master's programmes focus on teaching, business administration and leadership.

Student athletes can participate in competitions in baseball, basketball, cross-country, golf, soccer, softball, track and field and volleyball.

The city of Rocklin, (population of 57,000), is only 22 miles away from Sacramento, the capital city of California. Sacramento offers an array of museums, theatres, galleries, sports and music venues as well as restaurants (that source their food locally), cafes and shops. Every year, the city hosts the Sacramento Music Awards (the Sammies) the Sacramento Jazz Jubilee and Sacramento French Film Festival.

San Jose is the third largest city in California, with a population of over one million. As the capital of “Silicon Valley”, San Jose offers plenty of employment and internship opportunities. In addition, the city abounds in parks to stroll in at weekends.
