Yachay University for Experimental Technology and Research, popularly referred to as Yachay Tech, is a public university located in Urcuquí, Imbabura, Ecuador.
It was established in 2014.
It offers undergraduate and graduate programmes through its five different schools: School of Biological Sciences and Engineering, School of Chemical Sciences and Engineering, School of Physical Sciences and Nanotechnology, School of Mathematical Sciences and Information Technology, and School of Earth Sciences, Energy, and Environment.
Yachay Tech is situated within Yachay City of Knowledge, a modern campus designed to be a hub for education, research, and innovation in Ecuador.
Yachay University for Experimental Technology and Research has several research centres to support research in fields such as biotechnology, nanotechnology, renewable energy, and materials science.
