About Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR)

Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR) was established in 2002 as a private university, providing affordable quality education.

UTAR has graduated over 82,000 students since its inaugural convocation in 2005 and has made impressive strides in establishing a strong reputation as a comprehensive university dedicated to achieving excellence in teaching and research.

The university currently offers 138 undergraduate and postgraduate programs in various fields across its 9 faculties, 3 institutes, and 3 centers located on the main campuses in Kampar, Perak, and Sungai Long, Kuala Lumpur. 35 research centers have been established to support research and development in various subjects and disciplines.

The university has established formal collaborations with over 600 educational institutions and industry corporations, both local and international, to facilitate international exchanges, research, and training.

The university also regularly engages in community service projects, providing students with opportunities to engage with the local community and give back to society.
