Every year I get sent a bundle of updated development textbooks aimed at first-year psychology students. They're mostly similar in style and content. The fifth edition of Child Psychology is no exception. It's glossy and well written but doesn't differ that much from the fourth edition.
Who is it for? First-year undergraduate psychology students.
Presentation: Clear layout and concise writing.
Would you recommend it? There are so many similar developmental textbooks out there that I would suggest students decide which one suits their learning style best.
