A charity set up in memory of Richard Dimbleby has funded a new cancer research centre. Scientists at the Richard Dimbleby Laboratory of Cancer Research at King's College London will focus on translating basic research into molecular diagnostics for cancer drugs. The laboratory will bring together research scientists from different disciplines including advanced optical physics, molecular and cell biology and tumour pathology and clinical cancer treatment. Dimbleby Cancer Care has supported cancer services at King's for the past 40 years.
