Businesses are to be given an opportunity to see the latest engineering research being carried out at the University of Strathclyde. The university's faculty of engineering, Scotland's largest, will open its doors next week to display its range of PhD research and technologies, from studies into reducing urban flooding to the latest methods for the safe storage of industrial chemicals. Colin Grant, the faculty's dean said: "The day will be an opportunity to meet PhD students and discuss new areas of research, from energy and sustainability, to product design."
