Fancy winning a Samsung Gear S3 Frontier smartwatch?
Times Higher Education wants to hear about the most innovative and effective ways that universities around the world are preparing their students for the 21st century.
Simply send us a short video clip explaining the best thing your university has done to equip you for the future.
It could be anything from great job advice, creating student forums or increasing international opportunities. The list is endless and the more creative, the better!
We have already heard from university leaders from all over the world about what they are doing to prepare students for the 21st century at the THE Young Universities Summit earlier this month, and now THE wants to hear the same from you, the students.
For a little inspiration, here are a few examples of the university leaders’ responses:
- I will advocate for my university to collaborate with the student union to enhance the student experience.
- I will endeavour to promote the programmes and opportunities my university has to offer to students.
- I will seek to have students involved in the creation and redesign of our student programme.
The full list can be viewed here.
The new Samsung Gear S3 Frontier smartwatch, worth £349, is the perfect device for the 21st-century student: it can receive calls, play music, track fitness goals and send and receive emails and text messages. And it tells the time, of course!
Follow the competition on social media, at #21cstudent and don’t forget to tell us your full name, the course you study and which university you come from.
All video entries should be sent to seeta.bhardwa@timeshighereducation.com
The deadline for entries will be 30 June 2017.
The smartwatch was gifted from Sungkyunkwan University (SKKU) in South Korea.
