Üsküdar University

Üsküdar University, founded in 2011, is based in Üsküdar, in Turkey. It was the first specialist university of Turkey in the field of behavioural health and science.

At Üsküdar University, students can gain both undergraduate and postgraduate degrees within a wide variety of faculties, including: engineering and natural sciences, humanities and social sciences, health sciences, communication and medicine.

There are also several graduate Institutes, including: addiction and forensic science, social science, health science and Sufi science.

In addition, there’s a Vocational School of Health Services. Specialities here include: oral and dental health, anesthesia, radiotherapy, pharmacy services, first and emergency aid, and dialysis.

The university is made up of three separate campuses. The main campus is located in Altunizade, which is one of the most central districts of Üsküdar. Üsküdar University Çarşı Campus is located in the centre of Üsküdar, which is one of the most historical districts of Istanbul, while the South Campus is located in Altunizade

Students will find campus accommodation located in the centre of Üsküdar, just 200 metres from the main campus.

There are plenty of clubs and societies for students to join as well as various competitions throughout the academic year.

Through its career centre, the university conducts seminars, group discussions and mock interviews. There’s also an information centre to make students aware of job opportunities.

The university also has partnerships with other universities worldwide offering international students the chance to study at Üsküdar University.
