China Subject Ratings 2024: Medical

The Times Higher Education China Subject Ratings are the only performance tables that judge Chinese institutions against their global peers based on the Chinese Ministry of Education’s classification of subjects.

The ratings for medical reveal performance across seven subjects: basic medicine/medical science; clinical medicine; medical technology; nursing; pharmacy; public health and preventive medicine; and stomatology.

In total, 1,054 universities worldwide receive a rating for at least one subject in the medical pillar.

Overall, 195 universities worldwide achieve an A+ grade in at least one of the medical subjects and 27 achieve the top mark for every subject, including Peking University.
